All scholarship funds have been awarded.

At its core, meditation is the process of developing the mind and heart. Developing qualities like awareness and wisdom directly lessens our own suffering and brings about the capacity for compassionate action in the world we share. Cultivating these qualities in a relaxed and natural way reminds us that a deeper freedom is possible and available in the very life we’re living.

As we will explore on this retreat, it is through a patient and relaxed moment-to-moment awareness that we can discover the transformative power and joy of this practice.

Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome to join us for this silent retreat. The daily schedule will include meditation guidance, alternate periods of sitting and walking practice, talks by the teachers and Q&A.

A limited number of You Choose fee spaces are available for ages 18 – 26. This means you can establish your own retreat fee, based on your financial means. A minimum of $20 per day is required (i.e. a minimum of $60 for the entire retreat). Email registration@dharma.org to apply.

Teacher Support: Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—offer their teachings freely, and rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood. Teachers do not generally receive compensation from IMS program fees. Click here to learn more about teacher support. There will be an opportunity to offer a contribution to your teachers at the end of this program, or you may donate now.
