IMS Online FAQ

The IMS Online Learning Center is a new website offering access to our latest IMS Online programs, beginning in October, 2021. We built the IMS Online Learning Center after receiving feedback from students and teachers seeking a simple and convenient way to access all of their IMS Online programs in one location. While your past online programs will remain in their existing location at this time, new programs, beginning October 1, 2021, will be offered in the Learning Center. Over time, we hope this simplifies your learning journey, makes it easier to access past Dharma talks, and offers a greater sense of community via discussion groups and other tools.

Go to ims.dharma.org and browse the available programs. Click on your desired program, select your sliding scale registration fee, and click “Enroll Now.”

As of October 1, 2021, most new IMS Online programs will only be available in the IMS Online Learning Center. A library of past programs remains available on-demand at Union.fit.

Our 2020/2021 on-demand library can be found at Union.fit. This library contains an assortment of wonderful programs and retreats that were offered live between April 2020 and July 2021. As of October 1, 2021, new on-demand programs will be available in the IMS Online Learning Center.

Yes, please. Though we will continue to send Zoom links for BIPOC Sangha via email each week, some people opt out of email notifications. Moving forward, the best place to find the correct links and schedules will be within the IMS Online Learning Center. We encourage you to open an account.

Yes. As one part of our ongoing effort to expand access to the teachings of the Buddha, all IMS Online programs feature sliding scale registration fees and the opportunity to self-select a low cost scholarship rate. Free programs are offered regularly, and no-fee enrollment for paid programs is available for those who request a fee-waiver via email to imsonline@dharma.org. Our system supports the cultivation of a dynamic and inclusive community and is made possible by our generous donors and those who contribute at the Benefactor level.

To expand access to the Dharma, all new IMS Online programs feature a sliding-scale registration system. There are three options assigned to all IMS Online programs: Sustainer Rate, Benefactor Rate, and Scholarship Rate. You no longer need to request a scholarship; simply self-select that rate if it is appropriate for you. IMS Online also offers no-fee enrollment to those who request a no-fee waiver via email. Unfortunately, our automated system is unable to accept offering amounts that are not designated on the sliding scale.
