January 17 - January 20, 2020 (Friday to Monday)

As our capacity for wisdom and compassion deepens, our ability to bring about real and transformative change increases, both internally and externally. During this weekend celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we will use classic mindfulness practices to develop clear seeing and a wiser, more compassionate heart. With greater clarity, we can better understand our internal processes as well as the key issues of our times that face us all. We can then learn to address these with more awareness and balance of mind.

This retreat, open to all, will include meditation instructions and guidance, alternate periods of silent sitting and walking meditation practice, and talks about the teachings. Short mindful relational practices will be introduced towards the end of the course, and an optional period of mindful movement will be offered by Sabra Saperstein.

This retreat is full with a waitlist of over 20 people. To be added to the list, submit a registration and deposit.
