Louije Kim is a community mental health therapist and dharma practitioner in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are a part of Spirit Rock’s most recent Teacher Training cohort and teach at various centers throughout the Bay Area. Louije is most drawn to practice in the style of Burmese monastic Sayadaw U Tejaniya as promulgated by Western convert Buddhist teachers. They are deeply committed to the personal and collective liberation of local communities, specifically in regard to issues of racial and gender justice.
