Jeanne Corrigal is the guiding teacher for the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community and a graduate of the 2017-2021 IMS teacher training program. She deeply appreciates metta and nature-based practices. She has been practicing since 1999 and is a graduate of Spirit Rock’s Dedicated Practitioner and Community Dharma Leader Programs. Jeanne is certified in Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Trauma Therapy (IFOT), is a certified MBSR teacher, and has trained with Mindful Schools and Somatic Experiencing. She is Métis, and Cree Elder Jim Settee was one of her first teachers in loving presence. She is deeply committed to loving the dharma with all of her heart.
Roxanne Dault teaches meditation in Canada, the USA, and Europe. She has been dedicated to this path for two decades, sitting on long retreats both in Asia and in the West. As a guiding teacher at True North Insight, Roxanne teaches in different settings, and she lives in Tiohti:áke (Montréal). She was mentored and invited by Joseph Goldstein and Pascal Auclair to join the IMS Teacher Training in 2017. Her teachings take root mainly from the lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw and are influenced by her love of nature and Indigenous wisdom. She is trained in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-mind approach aimed at relieving the symptoms of trauma and stress. She speaks French, English and is learning her ancestors’ language, Anishinaabemowin.
William Edelglass is the Director of Studies at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies. Previously, he was a Professor of Philosophy at Marlboro College in Vermont. William has also been a visiting professor at the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics (Dharamsala, India), the Central University for Higher Tibetan Studies (Sarnath, India), and the Indian Institute of Technology—Bombay. He has taught for Emory University’s Tibetan Studies Program in Dharamsala and more recently served as Director of the Smith College Tibetan Studies in India Program.
Yong Oh is a Dharma Council teacher at the Durango Dharma Center, a core teacher for Sacred Mountain Sangha, and a visiting teacher for other community centers across North America. He teaches retreats at the Insight Meditation Society, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Big Bear Retreat Center, and Vallecitos Mountain Retreat Center. He is a graduate of the 4-year Insight Meditation Society Retreat Teacher Training program, Spirit Rock Meditation Center’s 2-year Community Dharma Leaders program, and the Sacred Mountain Sangha 2-year Dharmapala training, taught by his primary teachers Kittisaro and Thanissara. Yong is also a retired acupuncturist, passionate about nature and Dharma, and has particular interests in devotional expression, supporting caregivers, and offering teachings to communities of color in the Dharma.
Nicola Redfern is an Insight Dialogue Retreat Teacher with an extensive background in both Zen and Vipassana meditation. With a strong belief that awakening is not simply a solo endeavor, Nic is particularly interested in getting meditation off the cushion and fully integrated into life, work, and relationships. She has taught multiple courses on the climate emergency, unlearning racism, and Nonviolent Communication, as well as programs for LGBTQIA+. Nicola is originally from the UK and lives near Santa Fe, NM.
