Meeting format (During program sessions, you will be able to see and hear the teacher, as well as other program participants, and they will be able to see and hear you).

The Buddha invites us to cultivate a spacious, kind, receptive mindfulness practice that can enable us to see how the entanglements of suffering get formed in our minds and hearts, and how they can be released.

With this embodied practice we are able to walk the world on this path of liberation with more wisdom and compassion for ourselves and all beings.

In this mini retreat let’s practice together in sangha, in community, where we can support and nourish each other’s practice.

Let go of the past.
Let go of the future.
Let go of the present.
With a heart that is free
cross over to that shore
which is beyond suffering.

Dhammapada verse 348

A note on dana (generosity)
Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood, and receive no compensation from course fees. All IMS online teachers receive a modest dana advance from IMS to guarantee a minimum level of financial support. (Click here to learn more about the dana practice.) There will be an opportunity to offer a contribution to your teacher at the end of this course or you may do so here: Donate Now: Teacher Dana.
