Tosca trained as a Kripalu Yoga instructor in 2007 and Integrative Yoga Therapist in 2008, and has practiced for over 20 years. Her facilitation is shaped by her dharma practice, studies with her teachers, and lived experiences, as well as a yearslong-residence at Kripalu Center. Her dharma training is rooted in Vipassana and the Brahmaviharas, with influences from the Korean Seon and Tibetan Kagyu lineages. She extends deep gratitude to her teachers and the ancestors and lineage holders of these wisdom traditions, including from South and Southeast Asia, for their liberatory teachings.
Tosca is also a teacher of mindfulness and compassion. She delights in supporting others on their contemplative and movement journeys in the service of healing, equity, and liberation for all, and has taught in settings ranging from hospitals and prisons to Buddhist monasteries. Her movement offerings emphasize agency, heartfulness, and wakefulness while being identity- and trauma-informed.
