Marvin Belzer

Marvin Belzer is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UCLA. For 15 years he served as Associate Director of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC), where he pioneered mindfulness courses for undergraduates at UCLA. He began teaching meditation for university credit in 1998 while a philosophy professor at Bowling Green State University. He is committed to making mindfulness accessible to everyone. You can find him teaching free weekly Zoom sessions through UCLA Mindful. His approach is rooted in the radical equality of all people, and a commitment to keeping things both really serious and somewhat fun.
