Meeting format (During program sessions, you will be able to see and hear the teacher, as well as other program participants, and they will be able to see and hear you).
In this mini retreat, we will practice with the feeling tone or vedanā of experience: pleasant, unpleasant or neutral. This is the second foundation of mindfulness offered by the Buddha.
Simply contemplating this quality of experience, either in meditative formal practice or in daily life, we realize how the feeling tone conditions our responses and actions. We can gain insight into the nature of our experience, and discover that we have more choices about how to engage life with ease, peace and contentment.
All are welcome, both seasoned and beginning meditators alike.

Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—offer their teachings freely, and rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood. Teachers do not generally receive compensation from IMS program fees, though IMS may offer a modest advance to ensure financial support and the continuation of the teachings.
