August 28 - August 29, 2021 (Saturday to Sunday)

Meeting format (During program sessions, you will be able to see and hear the teacher, as well as other program participants, and they will be able to see and hear you.)

The two essential components of insight meditation practice are steadiness and wisdom. Steadiness of mind brings inner balance. On Saturday, the instructions will focus on how to best steady and collect, calm and unify the mind. We learn how to engage the methods of practice to find inner balance in the very midst of experiences. Steadiness encourages strength of heart, making it possible to bear with and open to life as it is.

Wisdom - fostered by inquiry and investigation - is more easily accessed with a foundation of steadiness and calm. The foundation for wisdom is steadiness and collectedness of the mind. On Sunday, the instructions will focus on wisdom practices, learning to look into the deeper aspects of our lives and living with greater compassion and understanding. Such a practice brings about the heart’s sure release.

Open to both new and experienced meditators, all are welcome!

Registration for this program closes 30 minutes prior to the opening session.
