Meeting format (During program sessions, you will be able to see and hear the teacher, as well as other program participants, and they will be able to see and hear you).

Saddhā, translated as faith, or confidence, is a quality that is important to develop in the beginning and throughout our practice. It is accessible in every moment, and a part of the path of liberation. In this retreat, beginning meditators will be introduced to the Foundations of Mindfulness while experienced practitioners will have an opportunity to settle into this ever-deepening map of practice. Jeanne will offer ways to notice and cultivate this motivating quality of saddhā, and to explore its liberative invitation.

For this course, sliding scale fees are $35, $45, $55, or $75. We also offer a scholarship fee of $20, and no-fee enrollment for those who request a fee-waiver. Our “Pay What You Can Afford" system supports the cultivation of a dynamic and inclusive community and contributes to the health and vibrancy of the sangha. Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood, and receive no compensation from course fees.
