On Demand: Practice with IMS teachers on your schedule, at your own pace!

This online meditation course for experienced practitioners will focus on deepening mindfulness and liberating insight. Our guiding map will be the teachings on the Four Applications of Mindfulness (Satipaṭṭhāna), which enable us to tap into the wealth of practical wisdom from early Buddhist contemplative traditions. The teachers will offer gentle and precise training in unifying the mind, guiding us in establishing different modes of awareness and in friendliness (metta). These practices allow for quieting and strengthening the heart, and foster transformative insights, growth and integration.

The course format will include guidance on sitting and walking meditation, Dharma talks and daily optional Q&A sessions to support a sustained practice at home.

Registration gives you access to the livestream event as well as unlimited access to each recorded session through our replay library.

Cost is sliding-scale: $500, $275, or $190, your choice. Paying at a higher rate helps IMS to offer ongoing support to teachers and staff during this period of closure.

12 continuing education credits were available for psychologists, social workers and nurses for the live-streamed version of this retreat, but they are no longer available for the on-demand offering.

A note on dana (generosity)
Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood, and receive no compensation from course fees. All IMS online teachers receive a modest dana advance from IMS to guarantee a minimum level of financial support. (Click here to learn more about the dana practice.) There will be an opportunity to offer a contribution to your teachers at the end of this course.

Daily Schedule:
all times listed in Eastern Daylight Time EDT
(with Central European Summer Time CEST listed as well):
Note: all sessions (except Q&A) will be recorded and posted so you can view it later if you missed one.
