On Demand: Practice with IMS teachers on your schedule, at your own pace!

In these times of uncertainty, we are each being offered a fertile ground to more deeply explore the meanings of wisdom and compassion in our lives. The balance, resilience and lovingkindness strengthened in meditation practice can become essential contributions to our own wellbeing, as well as to family and community.

At this extraordinary moment when so many are sheltering in place and holding their breath, IMS co-founders Joseph Goldstein and Sharon Salzberg have come together to offer teachings to help uplift and inspire. They invite you to join this program, designed to offer shelter for the hearts and minds of all.

Presented by the Insight Meditation Society, this new 5-day course focuses on three spheres of personal transformation:

1. Deepening concentration to feel more centered and less fragmented;
2. Strengthening mindfulness as the vehicle for greater wisdom and balance;
3. Expanding a sense of connection through lovingkindness for oneself and others.

These meditative tools are especially useful for these turbulent times when so many are suffering. And, the lessons learned will be applicable to all of life, now and in more joyful months and years ahead. Please join Joseph and Sharon, and Jozen Tamori Gibson for this rare opportunity to share shelter and peace through the practices of awareness and compassion.

This course is offered via on demand presentations from the teachers interspersed with self-practice at home. The suggested daily schedule features 4 recorded events and looks like this:

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT (1 hour) Sharon Salzberg
1:00 PM - 1:45 PM EDT (45 minutes) Jozen Gibson
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM EDT (1 hour and 30 minutes) Joseph Goldstein
