All accommodations are single rooms with locking doors. Bathroom blocks are located on each floor, each toilet and shower stall is fully private and lockable.

Professional Involvement with Mindfulness

Please list recognized mindfulness courses you have attended (minimum of eight weeks). If you have not participated in such a training, please indicate your prior silent meditation retreat experience (of at least two week-long silent retreats, at IMS or elsewhere) or your professional involvement with mindfulness-based approaches.

Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Affiliation

As part of IMS's commitment to diversity and equity, we have an intention to increase the participation of black, indigenous, and people of color in our retreats. To help bring this to fruition, we are holding a portion of all Retreat Center course spaces for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC). This also applies to any retreat where a lottery will be conducted.
For courses that are seven days or less, unused BIPOC slots will be released two months prior to the start date. For retreats longer than seven days, unused BIPOC slots will be released four months prior to the start date.
So we can support your participation in the retreat of your choice, please make us aware if you self-identify as a person of color.

IMS's fees are on a sliding scale basis, and do not include compensation for the teachings. There will be an opportunity to offer donations to the teachers and to IMS at the end of this retreat. Please consider selecting the highest rate you can reasonably afford to help ensure retreats are available to all. Note that any amount paid above the Base rate is a tax-deductible donation.
