Welcome!
In recognition of the boundless heart qualities reflected in the thoughts and actions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nakawe Cuebas Berrios, Devin Berry, and Shelly Graf will offer integrated practices to support an embodied intimacy with experience. This retreat begins on Friday, January 15, at 6 pm EST. Lissa Edmond will offer mindful movement.
With the teachers’ guidance, participants will cultivate continuity of mindfulness throughout all daily activities. Practices will include sitting, walking, meditating and listening to the teachings of the Buddha.
This page includes the retreat schedule and Zoom information. Retreat resources provided by the teachers, if any, will also be posted on this page. Continuing education credits will be available for psychologists, social workers and nurses. Please check our CE page for more information.
If you haven’t done so already, please register for this retreat here. If you have questions, please email us at imsonline@dharma.org.
Retreat Dana (generosity)
Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood, and receive no compensation from course fees. All IMS online teachers receive a modest dana advance from IMS to guarantee a minimum level of financial support. (Click here to learn more about the dana practice.)
