Caregivers Retreat: Ease the Mind and Replenish the Heart with the Brahma Viharas

Welcome!

We’re thrilled to offer this meditation retreat for anyone who finds themselves in any kind of caregiving role during these turbulent national and global times. The retreat will be taught by DaRa Williams, Yong Oh, and Dawn Scott, and begins on Thursday, November 5, at 4 pm EST. Lissa Edmond will offer mindful movement.

If you’re feeling weary, disconnected, overworked, or overwhelmed, this spacious retreat will help you uplift the heart and settle the mind with the Brahma Viharas (lovingkindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity), within a supportive retreat community.

This page includes the retreat schedule and Zoom information. Links to retreat resources provided by the teachers are shared in the Retreat Resources section that follows the retreat schedule.

If you haven’t done so already, please register for this retreat here. If you have questions, please email us at imsonline@dharma.org.

Retreat Dana (generosity)

Most IMS teachers—like insight teachers around the world—rely on the generosity of students for their livelihood, and receive no compensation from course fees. All IMS online teachers receive a modest dana advance from IMS to guarantee a minimum level of financial support. (Click here to learn more about the dana practice.)
