Drawing on his canonical studies of early Buddhism, Bhikkhu Anâlayo will present his vision of how all four satipaṭṭhânas (ways of establishing mindfulness) can be practiced together. For the first week, he will offer meditation instructions and evening talks, and during both weeks will lead various discussion periods. In the second week, Joseph Goldstein will give teachings on the Four Noble Truths, and during both weeks Joseph and Sally Armstrong will meet with retreatants about their practice.

Participants are required to have sat at least two retreats of a week or more with a recognized insight meditation teacher. Please document this when registering.

The teachers ask that in preparation for this course, all participants read Bhikkhu Anālayo’s new book, Perspectives on Satipaṭṭhāna. For ordering instructions, including a discount for retreatants, please email
