Prerequisites

All positions at IMS require the following:

• A solid worth ethic
• Good communication skills
• An ability and commitment to work as part of a team

• A sincere interest in practicing meditation and bringing awareness to all areas of daily life

• A commitment to live and work observing the five training precepts

• An intention to nurture and protect our retreat environment and spiritual refuge

Please note that IMS can only consider applications from those already authorized to work in the US.

Looksee

IMS seeks to employ the best available candidate for each position. After preliminary interviews, we may ask applicants to visit us for a few days, to experience the job and meet staff members. This is called a ‘Looksee’, and if it proves to be a two-way fit, we may then offer the position.
